By accessing PlantAtlas, you agree to these terms.
The service
PlantAtlas provides industrial equipment documentation, BOM management, and lubrication program tools as a hosted SaaS platform, together with the PlantAtlas Lube mobile app for field data collection. Access is by invitation only, provisioned by your organization administrator.
Acceptable use
You may not use PlantAtlas to store illegal content, attempt to breach security controls, or interfere with other users. Accounts found in violation may be suspended.
Your data
You retain ownership of all data you upload. By uploading content you grant PlantAtlas a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service. Providing the service involves a small number of sub-processors for hosting and storage and, where you have enabled AI features, the AI providers named in our Privacy Policy.
AI features
PlantAtlas includes AI features: an assistant that can record and edit your data on your instruction, and automated scoring and lookup tools. AI output can be incomplete or wrong, including when it appears confident. You are responsible for reviewing what the assistant records or changes, and any change it makes on your instruction is treated as your own. AI features are optional and require your consent before use; our Privacy Policy sets out what is sent, to whom, and how to withdraw that consent. We do not warrant the accuracy of AI output.
Engineering judgment
PlantAtlas produces maintenance recommendations, including lubrication intervals and quantities, criticality ratings, and equipment specifications, from the data entered into it and from reference libraries. These are decision support. They are not engineering advice and do not replace the judgment of a qualified person or the instructions of an equipment manufacturer. You remain responsible for validating any recommendation before acting on it, and for the safe operation and maintenance of your equipment.
Limitation of liability
PlantAtlas is provided "as is". We make no warranty of uninterrupted availability. Our liability is limited to fees paid in the preceding 12 months.
